Overview

GeoFences are user-created geographic boundaries that are manually sent to specific devices. When those devices enter or exit the boundary, alerts are instantly triggered. GeoFence alerts cost 1 TRAK unit.

Mapping All Geofences

• Click the Map All button in the upper right, next to the Add button
• The map at the bottom of the page will update to map all geofences on the account

Creating A Geofence

• Click Add in the upper right
• This opens the Create Geofence window
• Choose a GeoFence Name
• Set an Address or GPS, then click the arrow button to automatically populate the other set of fields
• Choose a Radius (miles)
• Choose a shape
  • (Optional) You can use the markers on the map to adjust the geo-fence’s boundaries
• Click Save

Edit A Geofence

• Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the geofence you would like to modify
• This opens the Edit Geofence window
• The Geofence Name, Address/GPS, Radius and shape can be edited
  • (Optional) You can use the markers on the map to adjust the geo-fence’s boundaries
• Click Save

Deleting A Geofence

• Click the Delete (trash can) icon next to the geofence you would like to delete
• This opens the Delete Geofence window
• Click Delete
• This will delete the geofence from the system
