When a vehicle is selected from the Vehicle List, the Vehicle Information slide up opens.
The first tab displayed in the slide up is Details, which shows customer, vehicle and device information
The Customer section shows the information of the customer who purchased the vehicle, including their name, address, phone number, and email address
The Vehicle section shows the information of the vehicle associated with the selected device. This includes: display name, stock number, VIN, make, model, year, color, license plate, license location (state), and odometer.
The display name is the name the vehicle will be shown as throughout the application.
The odometer value is a sum of the user-defined initial odometer and the GPS odometer of the device.
*Note: The GPS odometer is an estimate, and should not be relied on as an exact odometer value.*
The Device section shows the information of the device itself.
This includes its unique serial number, vehicle group, the user-defined device status (Not Installed, Installed, Out for Repossession), GPS position (Lat/Long), last known location, the date the device was last updated and the date the device was installed.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon at the top right of the Details tab to open the Edit Details window.
This window allows you to edit all aspects of the Vehicle, Customer and Device sections
VIN Decoding: In the Vehicle section, there is a magnifying glass next to the VIN field. Clicking this will decode the entered VIN and populate the Make, Model, and Year of the car automatically.
Click the Print (printer) icon at the top right of the Details tab to print all information about the vehicle, including: Customer, Vehicle, and Device information, as well as all information in the Notes tab.
