The Outstanding Alerts menu lists all the new, non-standard device events that have been generated in the last 7 days. “Non-standard” means any event that was triggered by something specific the device did (e.g. Low Battery Voltage, Stop Report, GeoFence Violation, etc.). Standard events are generated at regular intervals (e.g. Auto Report or Power Up w/ GPS, etc.).
This grid is useful for quickly checking if any important events recently came in that you may need to take action on.
Note: This grid has no connection to Alert Management. Devices will send events and those events will be displayed in this grid regardless of alerts being defined or not.
In the navigation bar at the top, there is a counter labeled New Alerts. This counter shows how many alerts are in the Outstanding Alerts grid. Clicking on the counter will also direct you to Outstanding Alerts.
Use the checkboxes to select which specific event types you want to see in the grid, then click Filter to update the grid.
If no checkboxes are selected, all outstanding alerts will be shown.
Once you've reviewed your outstanding alerts, you can clear them out of this grid to ensure all alerts in the grid are new to you.
To clear selected alerts, use the checkboxes to select the alerts, then click the Clear Selected button at the bottom of the grid.
To clear all alerts in the grid, click the Clear All button at the bottom of the grid.
Click the printer icon to the right of the alert you would like to print. This will open a new, printer-friendly window with a map and details of the alert.
To map one outstanding alert, click the map icon at the far right of the alert row to open a map zoomed to the location of the alert.
To map all outstanding alerts, click the Map All button at the top right of the grid, next to the Export dropdown. This will open a map of all outstanding alerts displayed on the current page.
At the top right of the grid is the Export dropdown. This allows you to export all data in the grid to a CSV, PDF, or XLS file.
