Advanced Report Options

Clicking the Advanced Report link above the Run Report button will open the Advanced Report window.

This window allows further customization of report options by either filtering the report to specific types of data, or specifying which columns are displayed in the report. Customized reports can also be saved as a favorite, or scheduled to automatically run and email recipients on a defined interval.

Criteria Tab

The Criteria tab is not available for all reports.

The Criteria tab is used to filter the data shown in the report. Different report types will have different ways of filtering data.

  • If the report deals with device events, the Criteria tab will let you choose the specific events to be included in the report (e.g. For the Scheduled History report, the Criteria tab allows the report to be filtered to show only the history for a specific scheduled command).

If no Criteria are selected, the report will run with the default criteria.

Columns Tab

Under the Columns tab, use the checkboxes to select the columns that you want displayed in the report.

A report’s default columns will be preselected when this tab is clicked

Save Configuration Tab

The Save Configuration tab allows you to save and schedule a report. Saving reports can be very useful if there is a customized report that you'd like to run often. Once a report is saved, it will show in the Saved Reports list. Saved reports can be run, edited, or deleted with a single click.

Note: When saving a report, it's important to not use a custom date range, or the report will show the same data every time it's run.

This tab also allows you to schedule a report to run on a specified interval. When recipients are added, the report will be emailed to all the listed addresses whenever it is scheduled to run.
