Overview

The Dashboard tab provides quick and simple insights into your account. Many of the widgets are actionable, allowing you to click and be redirected to other relevant aspects of the application.

Above the widgets is the All Groups dropdown. This contains all the vehicle groups you are permissioned for. Choosing a group will update the widgets to only reflect vehicles in the selected group. There is also a refresh button to the right of the dropdown, which will update all of the widgets with the latest data.

Devices Widget

The Devices widget shows the total number of devices on the account, and the inventory states of those devices. This allows you to assess your inventory at a glance.

A device’s status can be:

  • Not Installed
  • Installed
  • Out for Repossession

Clicking on a section of the chart will direct you to the Vehicles tab, with the vehicle list filtered to only show the selected device state (e.g. Clicking Out for Repossession will show you the Vehicles tab filtered to only show vehicles that are out for repossession).

Renewals Widget

The Renewals widget shows how many devices are active, eligible for renewal, or already expired.

The graph’s bars are:

  • Active Devices: Devices that are current and active in the system

  • Eligible for Renewal: Devices whose data subscription expires within 30 days

  • Expired Devices: Devices whose subscription has already run out, and has not been extended

Note: Expired devices will only be visible under the Admin tab, on the Devices page.

Clicking the Renew Devices link at the top of the widget will load the Account Management page under the Admin tab, where device subscriptions can be renewed directly

Usage Widget

The Usage widget shows an overview of recent account activity, including:

  • Total Available Traks: Number of Traks available to the account
  • Total Alerts: Number of alerts devices have sent during the selected timeframe
  • User Locates: Number of Locate commands sent during the selected timeframe
  • Stop/Drive Reports: Number of Stop Reports and Drive Reports sent during the selected timeframe
  • Starter Enable/Disable: Number of Starter Enable and Starter Disable commands sent during the selected timeframe

Clicking View Reports at the top left of the widget will load the Reports tab and automatically run an All Device History report for the selected timeframe

Clicking the 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days buttons at the top right of the widget will filter the displayed data to only include data collected during the selected timeframe

Recent Alerts Widget

The Recent Alerts widget highlights a few critical alerts and graphs any of these alerts that have been triggered in the last 7 days.

The displayed alerts include:

  • Power Up With GPS: Triggered when a device is powered up and gets a GPS location
Note: This generally occurs when the device is installed. However, if a device is improperly installed, it may send many Power Up with GPS alerts
  • Low Battery Voltage: Triggered when the voltage detected from the vehicle battery is low
Note: This can indicate that the vehicle battery will die soon, which would leave the device unpowered and no longer able to respond
  • Vehicle Abandonment: If a vehicle does not move for 7 days, a Vehicle Abandonment alert is triggered
Note: It is important to investigate these alerts, as they may be an indication that the vehicle is in an impound lot or airport
  • Battery Disconnect: Only triggered by devices purchased with internal batteries. If the device loses power to the car, either from a dead battery or being physically removed, the device will sent a Battery Disconnect alert

Clicking View Your 7 Day Recent Alerts at the top left of the widget will load the Reports tab and automatically run an Alert History report for the last seven days

Clicking any of the bar graphs will load the Reports tab and automatically run an Alert History report for the selected alert for the last seven days

Top Device Usage Widget

The Top Device Usage widget displays which devices have used the most Traks during the selected timeframe. This can help highlight which vehicles are being more actively tracked via Stop Reports, Drive reports, user commands, etc.

Clicking on a Device Name will automatically load the Reports tab and run an All Device History report for the selected device

Clicking the 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days buttons at the top right of the widget will filter the displayed data to only include data collected during the selected timeframe
